Alfred University Athletics

ALFRED, NY—Freshman long-distance runner Alex Hall (Caledonia, NY/Caledonia-Mumford) has been named the Alfred University Male Athlete of the Week following his performance at the Golden Eagle Invite at the College of Brockport this past weekend.
 
Hall won the 5,000-meter race with a time of 15:47.61, granting him his second win of the indoor season in the event.  He also took first at the RIT Invitational in mid-January with a time of 15:53.79.
 
The men’s and women’s indoor track & field teams are back on the road this upcoming weekend when they travel to the NYSCTC Indoor Championship at RIT.  Competition begins on Friday afternoon.
