ALFRED, NY—Junior guard Jerry Kincel (Moosic, PA/Riverside) has been named the AU Male Athlete of the Week following his performance in a pivotal matchup against Stevens Tech this past weekend.
 
Kincel scored 21 points, eclipsing his previous career-high of 17 points, which he met three times in his career. Kincel came off the bench to give a spark to the Saxons to help them grab an Empire 8 win and momentum for the upcoming weeks.
 
Kincel and the Saxons’ men’s basketball team return to action Fri. February 6^th, when they play host to Nazareth College in the Terry S. Galanis Family Areana.
