Senior Justin Jarmer competed in a variety of events during a busy, three-meet week. He totaled five first place finishes, one second place, two third place, one fourth and one fifth place finishes during the week, competing in 10 events. Jarmer had a perfect, three-win meet against Empire 8 opponent, Utica College, winning both sprint freestyle events, clocking a time of 23.60 in the 50-yard freestyle and a 52.01 in the 100-yard. He also teamed to swim a 1:42.71 in the 200-yard medley relay for first place on Friday. Earlier in the week, Jarmer began the day with a win in the 200-medley relay, combining for a time of 1:42.93 before winning the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:01.99. He ended the meet with a fourth place finish in the 200-yard freestyle. Jarmer ended the busy week with a four-event performance at Hartwick College, earning a top finish of second in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:32.01, less than 0.50 seconds from first place. He added two third place finishes on the B-team of the 200-yard medley relay and in the 100-yard breaststroke, swimming a 1:01.93, less than 0.20 seconds away from second place. Jarmer was exhibitioned in his 200-yard breaststroke race but still posted the fifth fastest time in the event.
