ALFRED, NY-- Amanda Off (New Berlin, NY/Unadilla Valley) has been named the Alfred University Female Athlete of the Week.

The sophomore forward from New Berlin, NY, averaged 20 points, 7.5 rebounds and two blocks as the women’s basketball team dropped a pair of road games to open its Empire 8 Conference slate. In a loss to Stevens, she had 24 points and nine rebounds; in a loss to Hartwick, she had 16 points and six boards. Off is leading the Empire 8 in scoring (17.8 ppg) and is fourth in rebounding (8.8 rpg).
