Graduate Emily Wright tied the Alfred University school record for most career assists on Saturday in the 5-1 win at Elmira College. She scored the last goal of the game but it was the Saxons’ first goal of the second half that tied the record as Quinn Fowler scored within the first two minutes of the final 45 off of Wright’s assist. It was Wright’s 16^th of her career which ties her with Mary Quackenbush ’84. In total, Wright helped the Saxons go 2-0 on the week including a non-conference win against Buffalo State College.
