Hanschman helped the Saxons become Saturday’s home show High Point Team and Sunday’s Reserve High Point Team. She was named Saturday’s High Point Rider to lead the efforts as the Saxons topped Alfred State College, West Virginia University and Slippery Rock University. She was also instrumental in the team taking Reserve High Point on Sunday, finishing behind A-State while defeating the rest of the field. On Saturday, Hanschman won Level II Ranch Riding after having earned second place in Level II Horsemanship. On Sunday, she took second in Level II Horsemanship and placed fourth in Level II Ranch Riding. Hanschman is 1-of-8 Saxons who have punched their tickets to the IHSA Western Regionals on Saturday, March 7.
