Smit was the Alfred University Western Equestrian Show’s Morning High Point Rider on Saturday as she helped lead the Saxons to a win to open the day. The Saxons finished as Reserve High Point Team in the afternoon session on Saturday. Smit tied teammate Ally Dann for High Point Rider in the morning and after a tiebreaker, earned the title for herself. Smit won Level 2 Horsemanship with Dann in second place as the duo switched finishing roles in Ranch Riding. Smit then took second place in Ranch Riding in the PM show and finished in third place in Level 2 Horsemanship.
