Gilbert captured her second indoor and third overall Empire 8 women’s 800-meter title on Saturday as she won the indoor 800 with a time of 2:18.28. She scored a total of 18 points for the Saxons in the championships as she tacked on six points in the 400-meter dash, earning All-Empire 8 Third Team with a time of 1:00.47, breaking her own school record again in the event. Her final two points came in the 4x400-meter relay as she teamed with Zoe Rainville, Anne Spila and Bianca Durso for a time of 4:22.54 for fifth place.
