Senior Erik Diehl led the Saxons on Friday during the Rochester Institute of Technology Invitational. He ran a 1:58.24 in the 800-meter run to finish second. He was three seconds off of his personal best time which would have topped St. John Fisher’s Peter Girardi and his 1:56.22 (All-Atlantic Regional Qualifying time). Diehl teamed with Jordan Schools, Rashid Abuelmaali and Matthew Roder in the 4x400-meter relay where they took second with a time of 3:36.33.
