Watkins totaled three wins and one second place finish in a tough loss at Hartwick College. He began his day with a win in the 200-yard medley relay as the fourth leg, swimming freestyle with a total time of 1:38.76. He used that to quickly transition into his second win of the day during the 50-yard freestyle, swimming a 22.37. Watkins’ final win of the day was during the 200-yard freestyle relay, swimming the final leg again for a combined time of 1:30.22, edging out Hartwick’s A-team time of 1:30.39. Watkins had one second place finish during the meet with a time of 53.41 in the 100-yard butterfly.
