Anne Spila, after claiming the Alfred University school record in the indoor pentathlon during the Empire 8 Indoor Championships, broke her own record during the opening day of the All-Atlantic Regional Track & Field Conference Championships at The Armory in NYC. Her previous record was 2,792 points but on Friday, scored 2,803 points. She had three of her five events score higher than when competing in the E8 championships as she finished 10^th in the region.
