Lagos was a force on Saturday in a tri-meet at Fredonia against the Blue Devils and the Yellowjackets of University of Rochester. He had the most total wins in the head-to-head-to-head matchup with a clean sweep over both opponents with a dominant, 2:01.84 in the 200-yard butterfly, defeating the entire pool by almost six seconds. He then tied for first in the 100-yard butterfly with Rochester’s Max McClung, both swimming a 52.98. Lagos then swam a 49.56 in the 100-yard freestyle, topping the Fredonia swimmers by over seven seconds and being edged by the Yellowjackets’ Johnny Wu’s time of 49.29.
