Nyah Solly helped the Saxons to a 2-0 week as they opened Empire 8 play with a 2-0 shutout against Medaille University. On Wednesday, on the road at Pitt.-Bradford, Solly shot the ball six times with one on target but assisted on the second goal of the game, ultimately being the game-winning goal. She directly scored the game-winning goal on Saturday as AU defeated the Mavericks. Solly tacked on another goal in the game as she fired a career-high 10 shots and career-high five on goal. Solly also was instrumental in leading a defense that only allowed two shots on goal and five shots in total for the week, including not giving Medaille an opportunity to shoot the ball at the Saxon keeper, Kiani Barnard-Pratt.
