Amber O’Toole had two strong performances on Saturday in hunt seat equestrian and Sunday in western equestrian as she qualified for regionals in hunt seat and national semi-finals for western. On Saturday, she finished second in her heat during limit flat, propelling her to a regional spot. O’Toole added a fourth place finish on Saturday in limit over fences. On Sunday, she was the reserve champion in open horsemanship, earning her trip to Texas for the IHSA National Semi-Finals. O’Toole closed out the weekend with a third place finish in open reining.
