Amanda Burns led the offense of the Saxons that went 2-1 in Empire 8 action and neared a perfect week with a five-set thriller against the No. 2 team in the Empire 8, Hartwick College. She had 44 set assists to start the week in a five-set win on the road at Elmira College, added 32 in a three set domination of Russell Sage College and 46 in that nail-biter against Hartwick. She tied a career-high in aces with five against Hartwick as she had seven on the week. Burns added four kills and 17 digs on the week.
