Graduate Shane Weber was a threat from goal to goal as he broke his career-high in ground balls by scooping up 13 against Sage College. In the game, he also was a major hinderance to Gator attackers as he caused six turnovers and prevented many more offensive opportunities, keeping the shots low at 18 despite the multiple offensive stays for the Gators. Even in transition, Weber helped the Saxons cause 10 unsuccessful clear attempts for Sage, keeping them at a 15-of-25 record for the day. Weber even added a strong presence to the offensive side of the field as the majority of his ground balls came off of won faceoffs for AU and he scored a goal, making it is second in a row in back-to-back games.
