Sophomore Mike Schmidt led the men’s basketball team in Saturday’s 74-71 win against Houghton in the Terry S. Galanis Family Arena. He was 7-for-12 from the floor with two 3-pointers and tacked on a 7-of-10 free throw performance for a game-high 23 points. Schmidt had the game-high in assists as well with six. He also pulled down five rebound (four defensive) and stole the ball once.
