The senior outfielder from Corning, NY, helped the softball team to three wins in four games last week, including a split of the Saxons’ Empire 8-opening doubleheader against Stevens. She hit a double, scored a run and drove in two as AU beat Stevens in the second game of the doubleheader. For the week, which included a sweep of Keuka, Scheer went 5-for-12 with three doubles, three runs scored and five driven in.
