Junior Saul McCoy is the first Saxon to qualify for the All-Atlantic Regional Track & Field Championships for the indoor season as he threw an indoor (and beat his outdoor mark) personal best distance in the shot put with a toss of 14.13m. Prior to Friday’s season-opening meet, McCoy never threw above 14.00m as his throw was good enough for third place. He also picked up a Top-10 finish in the weight throw with a mark of 10.56m to take the 10^th place finish.
