Hall began the indoor season showing versatility as not only one of AU’s top distance runners, but also as a competitive sprinter. She began the Houghton University December Classic with a collegiate career-high in the 3,000-meter run, clocking in a time of 11:31.93 to finish third, crossing the finish line almost a complete five seconds faster than the next runner, a first-year from SUNY Geneseo. As a distance runner, she was asked to run in one of the Saxons’ 4x200-meter relay teams. After a shaky handoff from AU’s second and third legs, Hall ran at anchor to overcome a 20-meter deficit, edging SUNY Cobleskill at the finish line to finish fourth among Division III teams. Her team of Olivia Gilbert, Ashley O’Toole and Sarah Lutkins ran a 2:03.46, beating Cobleskill’s team time of 2:03.70.
