Ruffner finished second in the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) High Point Rider competition, held over the weekend during the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) National Championships in Lexington, KY. She also placed (top 10) in two other individual events at the IHSA Nationals, held May 4-7. She was fourth in Western Open Horsemanship on Friday and ninth in Western Open Reining on Saturday.
