First-year Danielle Perry continued to improve her school record in the triple jump when she hit 10.91 meters on Saturday during the Empire 8 Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Nazareth College. She finished second overall and earned a spot on the All-Empire 8 Second Team while punching her ticket to the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Perry also competed in the 4x100-meter relay as she joined fellow first-years, Megan Alper, Krissy Roberts and Amanda Roberts to finish fifth with a time of 54.44. Perry rounded out her day at the championships with an eighth place finish in the long jump with a distance of 4.96 meters.
