Seth Spicer broke a school record in the heptathlon this weekend at Edinboro University on his way to have a come-from-behind victory over all of the other competitors. He finished with a score of 4,567 points. In addition to breaking the school, Spicer also set a new school record in the pentathlon. The NCAA switched from the pentathlon to the heptathlon for its official indoor multi event five years ago. Spicer's scores in the five former pentathlon events -- 60-meter hurdles, long jump, high jump, shot put and 1,000 meters -- totaled 3,433 points, 12 points better than the former AU record.
