LaMastus scored 187-of-605 points for the Saxons as they finished third in the Empire 8 Swimming & Diving Championships. Out of his performances, he had two individual All-Empire 8 Second Team results, one All-Empire 8 Second Team relay result and one Empire 8 Champion and All-Empire 8 First Team relay title. He teamed with Emiliano Terrazas, Emmanuel Drappatz and his brother, Wade to earn First Team honors in the 200-yard medley relay, combining for a time of 1:33.81. Had SUNY Geneseo not DQ’d, LaMastus and the Saxons would have still earned 34 points instead of 40, for only a six-point difference. He teamed with Carlos Gonzalez, Terrazas and Drappatz for a second place finish in the 400-yard medley relay with a time of 3:27.94. Individually, he took second in the 100-yard backstroke (51.15) and the 200-yard backstroke (1:55.03). LaMastus capped his long week with third place relay finishes in the 800 and 400 freestyle relays and a fourth place finish in the 100-yard butterfly.
