Emma Siemer was one of three Saxons to win twice on Sunday against Oswego State during Alfred University's Senior Day and Pink Day in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness. She first teamed with fellow freshman Inda Gillett for an 8-4 win over Madeline Klatt and Giovanna Saulle at No. 3 doubles. It was the largest margin of victory for the Saxons outside of singles play. Siemer then topped Leslie Usherwood in flawless fashion with a 6-0, 6-0 shutout at No. 4 singles. Before Sunday rolled around however, Siemer and Gillett both claimed wins in singles and doubles at Empire 8 opponent, St. John Fisher on Friday during the Saxons' 6-3 win. Siemer and her partner topped Eileen Fleming and Amanda Pendergast at No. 3 doubles, 8-5. She then went on to defeat Olivia Rotondo at No. 4 singles, 6-1, 6-2.
