Rachel Cook went 2-0 in doubles and 1-1 in singles when the Saxons opened up Empire 8 play against Stevens Institute of Technology on Saturday and Hartwick College on Sunday. In both matchups and in both singles and doubles, Cook played in the No. 1 spot in the lineup. She teamed with Emma Jackson for a 9-7 win over Stevens' Alexis Connor and Julia Guignard and for a 9-8 win over Hartwick's Heidi Rice and Rose Natoli. Cook also earned an 8-2 win over Rice on Sunday.
