ALFRED, NY—Senior Miasia Hillman (Buffalo, NY/Hutch Tech) has been named the Alfred University Female Athlete of the Week following her performance at the Empire 8 Outdoor Track Championships held in Rochester, NY.

Hillman has also been named the Empire 8 Track Athlete of the Week. The senior sprinter won both the 100-meter dash (12.12 seconds) and 200-meter dash (24.72seconds) and was named Female Track Athlete of the Meet.

Both times set new conference championship meet records and both rank seventh in the nation this season among all Division III female athletes.

It marks the third time this season Hillman has been named Empire 8 Female Track Athlete of the Week. She had previously earned the honor for the weeks ending April 5 and March 28.

The Saxons' women's and men's teams are in action next on Saturday, April 25, at the St. John Fisher College Invitational.
