Junior Gillian Flint led the way for the Saxons, averaging 16.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 4.0 assists while missing just six shots all weekend (13-of-19) in a 2-0 weekend. Flint tallied 14 points, six assists and six rebounds in AU's win against Elmira College on Friday, then led the way off the bench, tallying 18 points on 7-of-10 shooting from the field (4-of-5 from 3-point range) in AU's upset win versus Hartwick. It was the Saxons first win over an Empire 8 team that had a winning conference record in the second half of the E8 schedule since the win over Hartwick in the 2015-16 season, defeating the Hawks 48-45 off a last second 3-pointer from McKaylee Croll. It was also the Saxons’ first win over Hartwick in the last nine attempts, snapping an eight-game skid.
