2015-16: Inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma, a national honor society for collegiate athletics (02.06.16)...all three of his doubles wins were when he teamed with Kyle Kemper at No. 3 and they finished 3-1 as a team...combined 3-5 in doubles and 0-3 in singles...played on four different doubles teams at No. 3.

2014-15: Not a member of the team.

2013-14: Finished 3-2 at No. 6 singles...never went to three sets in his matches...had one singles conference win over Houghton College's Jake Hertzler, 6-1, 6-4 (04.01.14)...teamed with Evan Haskins for five of his six No. 3 doubles matches...went 3-2 with Haskins, topping Houghton's Hertzler and Nate Aston 9-8...combined for a 3-3 doubles record at No. 3.

Before AU: Attended Sweet Home High School in Amherst, NY...played under coach Brian Koziol for the Panthers...recorded a 33-8 varsity record and was named to the ECIC Division II 1st Team Doubles...named an All-WNY Scholar Athlete.

Personal: Son of Patti and Jim Merrifield, Kyle is a renewable energy engineering major.
