2018-19: Earned Saxon of the Week (04.29.19)...won the match-clinching point that sent the Saxons into their first Empire 8 Playoffs since 2006 when he defeated Nazareth College's William Britton, 6-3, 4-6, 6-1 (04.27.19)...earned ITA All-Academic Honors (07.19.19)...played the majority of his singles matches at the No. 4 spot where he went 5-5...overall, was 6-7 in singles action with a 3-5 mark in Empire 8 play...went 6-7 in doubles play and 4-4 in conference, playing the majority of his matches at No. 2 doubles, going 5-5...had four different doubles partners throughout the season but played mostly with Peter Smock, going 5-3 at No. 2 and 6-4 overall with an overall Empire 8 record of 4-3.
2017-18: Played in Singles #6 match and went 1-0 against Oswego State.
2016-17: Finished the year with a 1-8 record at No. 5 singles while going 2-0 at No. 4 singles...added a 2-8 doubles record with Jacob Nordin with a 2-7 spot at No. 3...went 1-6 in Empire 8 singles play as well as doubles.
2015-16: Finished the year with a 5-7 record at No. 3 doubles with three different teammates...was 3-1 with Kyle Merrifield, 2-5 with Mike Wisniewski and 0-1 with Sean Benoit...added a 1-8 singles record with a 1-6 spot at no. 6 and 0-2 at No. 5...he was 1-5 in Empire 8 singles and a combined 2-5 in Empire 8 doubles.
Before AU: Attended Oswego High School in Oswego, NY...played tennis under coach Gary Casey Jones...attended Class A Section III Sectionals in 2013, 2014, and 2015 for the Buccaneers...named 1st Team All-League in 2015...named NYSPHSAA Scholar Athlete from 20012-2015...
Kyle graduated with a Regents Diploma with Advanced Designation with Honors and was named to the High Honor Roll from 2013-2015.
Personal: Son of Paul and Helen Kemper, Kyle is an engineering major.
