Sydney Shepherd arrived in Alfred University in January of 2021. She is a Part-Time Assistant Athletic Trainer for the 2021 Spring semester. Shepherd is originally from Greencastle, Pennsylvania and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford with a Bachelor of Science in athletic training. While attending Pitt Bradford she worked with both Portville Central School athletics and also Pitt Bradford collegiate athletics. During the remainder of her time here she will be working with the women's cheerleading, swimming and diving, track and field, women's volleyball, and the cross-country teams. She will also assist our AT program by becoming a clinical preceptor for the athletic training students. In the fall of 2021, she will be attending Methodist University to receive her Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
