Marchak began as the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Saxons in the Fall of 2025.
Marchak joins AU from Appalachian State University, where he was the Strength & Conditioning Graduate Assistant for two years. He worked with baseball, cheer, golf and track & field.
Marchak spent the 2022-23 season at Syracuse University. His primary sports were women's lacrosse and men's soccer. Marchak was a part of the women's lacrosse team's run to the Final Four during the spring. In addition to his duties with the Orange, he also served as the Strength & Conditioning Coach for Edge Strength & Conditioning in Syracuse. Marchak worked with athletes and clients on strength & conditioning programs that aligned with their personal goals.
A native of Syracuse, NY, Marchak holds a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from Utica University and a Master's Degree in Exercise Science from Appalachian State University.
