Kimberly Plummer comes to Alfred University with several years of coaching experience under her belt. She has volleyball coaching experience with grades 5-12 and even one year of coaching varsity high school track and field when she was a substitute teacher from January 2012 until June 2015 in Salt Lake City, UT. Plummer is pursuing her MSEd in mental health counseling at AU.
Originally a native of Horseheads, NY, Plummer helped the Raiders make a run in the state championship tournament with trips to the finals and semifinals three years in a row in 2004, 2005 and 2006. After graduating from Horseheads in 2007, she made her transition to collegiate play by attending the State University of New York at Potsdam in the fall of 2007.
While at SUNY Potsdam, Plummer earned recognition as the SUNYAC Rookie of the Year. After playing two seasons with Potsdam, she transfered to Springfield College in Massachusetts for her 2009 and 2010 seasons. Plummer then graduated in the spring of 2011 with a BS in Movement and Sports Studies and Physical Education from Springfield.
