Kelsea Healis joined the Alfred University women’s volleyball coaching staff as a Graduate Assistant in the fall of 2018.
Prior to joining the Saxons, Healis was a four-year starter for the Bears of SUNY Potsdam and captained the team her junior and senior seasons. She recorded 488 kills in 378 sets for 1.29 kills per set. Healis recorded a personal best, 209 kills her senior year. She totaled 86 aces and 155 set assists. Defensively, Healis had 597 digs, 73 block assists and 14 block solos as she ended her career with 624.5 points.
Off the court, Healis was an active member and representative to the NCAA Student-Athlete Advisory Committee as well as the SUNY Potsdam Athletic Leadership Council (expanded version of SAAC). While at Potsdam, she utilized her experiences with the Athletic Leadership Council to greatly contribute to the Yards for Yeardley event, a community awareness and activation eventh through which individuals across the country rally to end relationship abuse by educating young people about healthy and unhealthy relationships.
Healis’s coaching experience is highlighted with three volleyball camps and two volleyball clinics for the youth. She also works for 24Hour Fitness in Rohnert Park, CA and has since June 2016.
As a student-worker at Potsdam, she helped manage sporting events.
A resident of Rohnert Park, CA, Healis graduated from Rancho Cotate High School.
