Rachel Durbin joined the Saxon women's basketball team in the fall of the 2017-18 season as the program's graduate assistant.
Durbin is coming off of a successful four-year career at Westminster College where she was a starter since her first steps on the court and a captain during her junior and senior seasons. She capped off her collegiate career with 908 points, sinking 144 three-pointers. Durbin also pulled down 432 rebounds and assisted 191 times while stealing the ball 124 times in her 105 games (100 starts).
While playing at Westminster, Durbin earned herself All-PAC Honorable Mention in 2017 and was the Titans' team MVP that year as well. As a student, she was awarded the Westminster College Nominated Merit Scholarship for academic achievement and the Conti Scholarship. She graduated from Westminster with her Bachelor of Arts in psychology in 2017. Durbin is a 2013 graduate of Lowellville Local High School in Lowellville, OH.
Durbin has helped coach summer camps at Westminster College. She has also worked with two 3-on-3 basketball tournaments, Westminster College 3-on-3 Tournament and the Ella Rose Solak 3-on-3 Tournament where she was the creator in 2010.
