Alfred University Athletics

Natalie Rivera joined the Alfred University women’s basketball staff as a student assistant coach prior to the 2025-26 season.

A native of The Bronx, New York, Rivera comes to Alfred after a successful dual-sport career at Houghton University, where she played women’s basketball from 2021 to 2025 and women’s volleyball from 2022 to 2026. She majored in Sports, Recreation and Wellness Management and Organizational Management at Houghton University and is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Business Administration.

Before joining Alfred University, Rivera served as the Assistant General Manager for the Genesee Rapids of the New York Collegiate Baseball League. She also worked within Houghton University’s athletic facilities and youth sports programs, helping to organize events and mentor young athletes.
