Coach Morgan Howe joined the Alfred University women's basketball coaching staff in October of 2021, being named the assistant coach for the Saxons.
Coach Howe comes to AU from across the street, having coached five years for the Pioneers of Alfred State College, working in all aspects of coaching from recruitment and scouting, to practice itineraries and mentoring the student-athletes, helping them develop not only as student-athletes, but adults preparing for post-graduate life.
Coach Howe also has two stints of being a head coach, first for the Nunda Youth Basketball program in January of 2016 and then again in the same year as an AAU head coach, coaching the Woman's Fury Basketball. She earned her Bachelor's of Science in criminal justice from Medaille College in 2015 and having played basketball for three years.
