George came to Alfred University during the summer of 2018 as an assistant coach.
Prior to AU, George was the Co-Director and Head Basketball Coach for the Southern Tier Lady Hornets, an AAU team located in Belmont, NY. In that role, he coached the 13-15 year-old age group competing in tournaments throughout Upstate New York and Pennsylvania. Alumni of that program have since played at both the Division II and Division III level.
In addition to coaching, George also spent time with Syracuse Athletics as a marketing intern. While with the Orange he was part of a team that planned and executed marketing plans for the "non-revenue generating" sports. He also served as the marketing contact for women's basketball and tennis.
George also spent time with Alfred State Athletics, WRAQ Radio and ACES dating back to June of 2014. He earned a bachelor's degree in sport management from Alfred State College in May of 2018.
