Bill Horn joined the Alfred University women's basketball coaching staff at the start of the 2017-18 season as an Assistant Coach for the Saxons.
Horn has over 30 years experience both on the high school and college levels. He was the Assistant Coach at Elizabethtown College, for its women's basketball program for three years and helped take the team to as high as second in the country. He has over 300 wins as a high school coach at various Steuben and Allegany schools. During his time as a high school coach, Horn and his teams have won Sectionals three times with the boy's teams and has been named Coach of the Year three times in Class D. Horn has won six county titles and has also been published in Winning Hoops Magazine.
Horn is also a member of the Allegany County Hall of Fame. He currently resides in Canaseraga, NY with his wife Kathy and their three dogs Bailey, Arnie and Rosie.
