Adam Owlett

Adam Owlett was appointed an assistant coach for the AU men’s soccer team prior to the 2013 season.

He is a 2000 graduate of SUNY Buffalo, where he played four seasons on the men’s soccer team, twice serving as team captain. While at SUNY Buffalo, he helped lead the Bengals to a berth in the SUNYAC playoffs. He graduated from SUNY Buffalo in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in Social Studies Education and later earned a master's degree in Adult Education and Human Resources.

Owlett has been a teacher in the Canisteo-Greenwood School District since 2000 and has also served as coach of the high school’s girls’ soccer team during that time, earning more than 100 coaching victories. His prior coaching experience includes serving as an assistant on the SUNY Buffalo women’s soccer team’s staff. He is also president of the CG Soccer Club and Co-Director and Founder of the CG Youth Soccer Program.

He holds national E and D licenses and numerous youth modules and is currently completing work on a master's degree from Concordia University in Coaching and Athletic Administration.
