Collin Recore joined the Alfred University Athletic Training staff as a graduate assistant for the 2020-21, 2021-22, and 2022-23 seasons in August. Recore will be pursuing his Master’s in College Student Development and will be working with the junior varsity Football and men’s lacrosse programs.
Recore, a native of Plattsburgh, N.Y., graduated from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and a minor in Biology.
While at MCLA, Recore was an Athletic Training student with the Williams College football, men’s lacrosse, women’s volleyball and men’s ice hockey teams. He also did a clinical rotation at Southern Vermont College with the men’s soccer and women’s volleyball teams. Recore also worked with various sports in the MCLA athletics program. He participated in a summer internship with the sports medicine team for the Pittsfield Suns baseball organization of the Futures Collegiate Baseball League. In addition to his clinical experience, he presented twice at MCLA’s Undergraduate Research Conference, focusing on community nutrition and sports science.
