Kaelan Winkky joined the Alfred University men's lacrosse staff as an assistant coach prior to the 2023 season. Winkky joined the coaching staff following a successful playing career with the Saxons. Winkky was a midfielder for the men's lacrosse team for four years, graduating in May of 2022 with his Bachelor's in Business Administration. 

Winkky enjoyed a successful collegiate career with Alfred University, being named as the Empire 8 Sportsman of the Year following the 2022 season. In the classroom, he was a Saxon Scholar Athlete in both the spring of 2020 and fall of 2021. 

Before his time at Alfred University, Winkky went to Horseheads High School while he was living in Horseheads, NY.
