LaSpina '18, a 2018 Empire 8 All-Conference selection, became a graduate assistant at Alfred University in following his four-year career on the men's lacrosse team. He completed his career in the purple & gold as a midfielder with 10 goals, 18 assists and 125 groundballs as a midfielder.
As a senior, LaSpina was named team captain and aided the Saxons to their first-ever Empire 8 Conference Tournament appearance. He played a key-role in a faceoff unit that finished the regular season ranked eleventh in the nation in faceoff winning percentage.
During his tenure, the Saxons won 39 games, including a program second-best 13 wins in 2015.
