2021: Started in all of his eight appearances...totaled 10 caused turnovers and picked up 13 ground balls...standout performance against St. John Fisher College (04.28.21) causing a season-high four caused turnovers and grabbing a season-high five ground balls.
2020: Stared in all six games...finished second on the team in caused turnovers (8)...recorded six ground balls...helped defense limit opponents to 26.2 shots per game.
2019: Started in all 13 games played...recorded 30 ground balls...tied for third on the team with 21 caused turnovers...tied his career high with five ground balls against Nazareth College (04.27.19).
2018:
Played in 15 games while making 14 starts...scored first collegiate goal against Nazareth College (04.14.18)...had two assists...recorded 27 ground balls...caused 18 turnovers including tying a career-high four against Trine University (03.05.18) and SUNY Geneseo (03.28.18).
2017: Established himself as a starter in his inaugural season with 11 starts out of his 14 appearances...finished the year with 21 ground balls and third on the team in caused turnovers with 17...set and tied his collegiate career highs in two categories in back-to-back showings as he had four caused turnovers and five ground balls against both SUNY Canton (02.25.17) and College at Brockport (03.01.17).
Before AU: Played lacrosse for Coach Scott Sciera at Mynderse Academy in Seneca Falls, NY, where he was a two-time Section V Second Team All-Star, a two-time Finger Lakes First Team All-League selection, and an honorable mention All Greater Rochester pick.
Personal: The son of Pat and Darcy Cafolla, Ben earned his Bachelor's in Accounting and is now working towards his MBA.
