Alfred University Athletics

2012: Played in three games. Gained 200 yards on 29 carries and caught two passes for 25 yards. Assisted on a tackle.

2011: In his first year at AU after transferring from Western Connecticut State, played in 11 games as a backup tailback and rushed for 618 yards on 112 carries...Had a long run of 38 yards and scored one rushing touchdown, while catching six passes for 88 yards (long of 43 yards) and one TD. Returned eight kickoffs for 187 yards and two punts for 10 yards.

Before AU: Played the 2009 and 2010 seasons at Western Connecticut. Won the NJAC Rookie of the Year as a freshman and was an honorable mention conference all-star in 2010. Named HM All-League in his sophomore year. Named a Suffolk County all-star his junior and senior seasons in high school and the team MVP Award at Miller Place High School.

Personal: The son of Robert and Andrea DeRosa, Tyler is undecided on a major.
