Before AU: Played football at Avon High School under head coach Andy Englert...team captain...was a first team All-LCAA selection for OL and DL...All-Greater Rochester honorable mention selection...was also named an Eddie Meath All-Star and the Avon Offensive Lineman of the Year...National Football Foundation Scholar Athlete...also competed in track & field and wrestling...took third in the LCAA wrestling championships as a senior in the 285lb weight class...finished the season 27-10...high honor roll student...inducted into the National Technical Honor Society.
