Zach Handy

Zach Handy is in his first season as a graduate assistant for the Alfred University football team, coaching offensive linemen.

He comes to Alfred from his alma mater, Utica College, where he served as an assistant offensive line coach during the 2016 season. He was a four-year offensive lineman on the Utica football team (2012-15), playing in 19 games and starting 11.

As assistant offensive line coach at Utica in 2016, Handy coached short snappers and worked with the PAT/field goal units; coached the junior varsity offensive line; and assisted with strength and conditioning.

Handy graduated from Utica in December 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in history/adolescent education. He is pursuing a master’s degree in school counseling from Alfred University.
