Trent Vasey is in his first season as a graduate assistant for the Alfred University football team, coaching tight ends.
He comes to AU from Western New England University in Springfield, MA, where he was a four-year member of the football team. He was an all-conference tight end at Western New England, helping lead his team to New England Football Conference titles and NCAA Division III playoff appearances in 2015 and 2016.
Vasey has served as assistant director/coach of the Blue Chip Football Academy and Bulldog Football School in Franklin, MA, since 2012. He also completed a coaching internship at the Dean College (Franklin, MA) football office during the summer of 2015 and an administrative internship at the Dean College Athletic Department the summer of 2016.
Vasey graduated from Western New England in May 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in sports management. He is pursuing a master’s degree in business administration from Alfred University.
