John Vita joined the Alfred University football staff prior to the 2022 season.

Before Alfred University, Vita was hired as a defensive line coach at Worcester State University during the 2019 season. From 2020-21, Vita served the running backs coach.

Vita graduated with his bachelor's degree in exercise science from Castleton University in 2019.
