Coach Bailey joins the football staff in the summer of 2022. He comes to Alfred University after a five-year stay with the Gators of Allegheny College as the Special Teams Coordinator/Quarterback Coach. In only his second season with the Gators, Bailey and his staff helped coach the team to its first winning season since going 7-3 in 2010 and first North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) winning campaign since going 4-3 in 2012. Their 2018 season resulted with an overall record of 6-4 while going 6-3 in NCAC action.
 
Prior to Allegheny College, Bailey was the 2016 linebackers coach at the University of Rochester. Just shortly before his stint with the Yellowjackets, he was the defensive backs coach and video coordinator for Division II Gannon University, helping the Golden Knights to 15 wins over two years.
 
Bailey graduated from Penn State-Behrend in 2014 with a bachelors in English. From there, he started his first coaching experience as the defensive backs and quarterbacks coach for North East High School from 2010 until 2013.
